Partnership Grants
On occasion and depending on available resources, FEF may consider a proposal outside the normal grant cycle via the Partnership Grants program. This pathway is designed for district-wide projects that serve an identified need, have broad impact, are supported and promoted by the Superintendent of Schools, and include a “partnership contribution” from the Falmouth Public Schools.
A World of Stories is a stellar example of a Partnership Grant. This multi-year project was the culmination of a multi-year collaboration between Falmouth Public Schools, ELD Department, Falmouth Immigration Refugee Alliance, and Stellar Story Company.
In this project, a trainer worked with students and community people to craft their stories about being newcomers to the U.S. culminating in a public performance by the storytellers.

Storytelling was interesting because it was a new experience for me and very different. I thought I couldn’t do it, but I realized I needed to believe in myself, and I did it. I loved this experience!
