Celebrating 20 years!

The Foundation grew out of conversations in 2005 among a group of Falmouth residents who believed that strong public schools are essential to a strong community. Since awarding our first grants in 2006, Falmouth Education Foundation (FEF) has funded over 900 teacher-created projects totaling over $1,800,000.

Grant Programs

Since 2006, FEF has supported innovative projects that enhance teaching and learning in the Falmouth Public Schools. Grants are for classroom activities, projects and staff development that promote opportunities for all students.

Our current grants include:

For the 2024-2025 school year, FEF awarded 31 Project Grants and 50 Mini-Grants. Funding for FEF is made available through the generosity and commitment of donors.

In December FEF launched our first Online holiday auction.
We are so grateful to all who bid and won - you helped to make this fundraiser a success. Our sincere thanks to our auction donors who provided us with incredible items. Your donations help make dream projects reality!
