New Project Grants

These grants are for entirely new projects from both new and past grantees in any discipline.

Deadline for submission is April 19, 2024.

Guidelines for Applying for Grants for New Projects

Please read through the following guidelines prior to beginning the application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • For 2024-25, applicants can submit no more than two Project applications, which includes applications for both continuing and new project grants.

  • For 2024-25, grantees for projects that have been funded for the past three consecutive years, will need to submit a New Project Grant application.

The Primary Applicant

Each application will have one primary applicant, who will:

  • Receive all communications from FEF.

  • Be the primary contact to the FEF Program Committee liaison.

  • Be responsible for sharing all information with all co-applicants.

Working on the Application

  • There are two items you need to complete when you begin working on your application: your name and your email. You will not be able to return to your form or to submit the form without having filled in these fields.

  • If you want to begin working on the application and return to it later, it is very easy. Simply click on the "save" button on the bottom of the page you are on. Your application will be saved and you will be given a link for how to return to it.

  • Save the edit link so that you can return to your form to continue entering information.

  • Follow this process as many times as you need prior to submitting the final application.

  • Once you have completed your application, you will press 'submit." You will then see a screen confirming that we have received your form.

  • You will also receive an email from FEFgrants@gmail.com with the same links. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your SPAM folder as it is likely to be there.

  • Once you have submitted the final application, you will want to download the PDF from the response screen as it is a good way to save your final application and to forward it those who are providing letters of support.

  • You can print your application by clicking on the print form button on the last page of the application at any time in the process.

Budget Form

  • Download the 2024-25 Budget Form to your computer.

  • Save the form to your computer with the name of your grant, e.g., Teaticketmathclub.doc.

  • Complete the form and then upload the completed form on page 5 of the application.

Approvals Needed

  • All proposals need the support of your Principal or Department Chair.

  • Please email the PDF of your grant application and a copy of your budget to your Principal or Department Chair, and to Dr. Sonia Tellier, Asst. Superintendent, when it includes a request for technology.

  • Request that they email FEF at FEFgrants@gmail.com with their letter of support by April 19.
