Teacher Opportunity Fund Mini-Grants Generous gifts to the Foundation again this year allow us to invite Falmouth Public Schools faculty and administrators to apply for mini-grants for the third year. Grant applications are welcomed beginning on September 1 through 15. These grants:
are for learning opportunities during the current school year.
are for activities outside of the school's budget and outside of the standard FEF grant cycle.
require principal's approval.
will be funded in amounts between $25 - $300. No TOF grants are awarded for more than $300.
are not for activities requiring financial contributions from parents.
The Application A short application can be foundhere. Complete the application and press the submit button. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year on a rolling basis. Applicants will usually be notified within two weeks after submission.
Project Report At the end of the project, FEF requires a brief report of how the funds were used. Click here for the form to complete: brief narrative report. If you have received a TOF grant, please complete this form as your comments are very valuable in helping FEF to raise funds to support this grant program. New grants will not be funded until reports are received for prior grants.
Payment Information Due to the small size of the grants and the number of grants awarded, TOF grants are for reimbursement only. For grantees to be reimbursed for credit card purchases, FEF requires a receipt and credit card information. Tax paid by the grantee cannot be reimbursed. The one exception is if your project is a bus rental. A bus rental should be arranged directly with the Falmouth Public Schools Business Office and FEF will reimburse the Business Office directly.
