Falmouth High School students Win Marine art contest honors
Eighteen students from teacher Jane Baker's Falmouth High School advanced studio art class were winners in the 2016 Massachusetts Marine Educators Marine Art Contest. There were more than 900 entries. Many of these works were selected for a year-long traveling exhibition; major prize winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) also received cash awards along with aquarium tickets and certificates. The studies for this project were made possible through an FEF mini-grant, which paid for a field trip to the Woods Hole Aquarium in early April.
